Cuba · Food security + creative continuity
Cuba is where this work began.
Our relationships with Cuban musicians, educators, students, and families go back years. The current campaign responds to the very practical pressures now affecting those same communities.
The Cuba Creative Relief & Food Security Project supports food access, basic medicine, solar cooking, household energy, and other needs that help people continue working, teaching, rehearsing, and caring for their families during a prolonged period of scarcity.
Support the people who keep Cuba’s creative life moving.

Colombia · Earthquake + seasonal wind recovery
Protect the communities that protect the culture.
Colombia is one of Musical Getaways’ core destinations, and our team has worked repeatedly with the country’s musicians, cultural leaders, cooks, artisans, and community partners.
Following the August 2026 earthquake and the strong winds of the season, we are focusing on smaller Pacific communities where damaged homes can also mean damaged restaurants, workshops, rehearsal spaces, and family businesses. Musical Getaways is also an official partner of the Festival de Música del Pacífico Petronio Álvarez, whose disruption has created an additional economic shock for many of the same creative communities.
Explore the Colombia campaignHow we decide to act
The relationship comes first. The campaign follows.
Emergency fundraising can easily become distant or performative. Our goal is the opposite: understand the need, work through people who know the local reality, and be clear about what resources actually accomplish.
Existing relationships
We prioritize communities where our team already has trusted local connections and cultural context.
Documented needs
Support is based on specific, verifiable needs rather than assumptions about what a community requires.
Local solutions
We purchase locally and coordinate through local partners when practical, keeping resources closer to the people they serve.
Public follow-through
We document how campaign funds are used and report results while protecting the privacy and dignity of participants.
Choose a campaign, or support the work as a whole.
Campaign-specific donations go toward the named initiative. General support helps CreatiVrole respond to mission-aligned needs, build programs, and maintain the infrastructure required to do the work responsibly.
