Cuba Programs

Working missions supporting musicians and communities through solar infrastructure, music resources, and direct collaboration.

What Cuba Programs Are

Cuba Programs are structured working missions, not tours. Participants contribute directly to ongoing projects in music communities across the island, carrying essential supplies and participating in hands-on work.

Each mission focuses on specific needs identified by local partners: installing solar panels for rehearsal spaces, delivering instruments and recording equipment to schools, supporting cultural events, and helping maintain the infrastructure that keeps creative work possible.

This is active participation. Missions are designed around meaningful contribution, not observation.

How Missions Work

Each mission operates on a fixed cost structure. Participants pay for their travel, logistics, and participation. These costs cover compliance, transportation, meals, and coordination through our partner organization, Havana Music Tours.

Every participant carries a mission bag – one checked bag filled with supplies determined by current needs on the ground. These may include solar equipment, instruments, cables, adapters, laptops, or other resources requested by local educators and musicians.

On the ground, days are structured around the work. This may include installation projects, equipment delivery and setup, attending rehearsals or performances, and direct collaboration with local artists and institutions.

Missions are organized, accountable, and focused on usefulness.

Communities We Serve

Our Cuba work focuses on regions where we have established relationships and ongoing collaboration:

Havana

The capital’s music education institutions, rehearsal spaces, and performance venues. We support conservatories, local rumba groups, and independent musicians.

These are places where longstanding relationships allow us to work responsibly and effectively.

How This Work Is Organized

CreatiVrole Project handles the mission planning, supply coordination, and charitable components of this work. We identify needs, organize fundraising, and ensure accountability for resources delivered.

Havana Music Tours manages all logistics, compliance, and on-the-ground operations. As a licensed cultural travel provider with years of experience navigating Cuba’s regulatory environment, they handle permits, transportation, meals, and coordination with local institutions.

This partnership allows us to operate with both nonprofit integrity and professional logistical capacity.
